چکیده
Abstract The critical behavior in an important class of excited state quantum phase transitions is signaled by the presence a new constant motion only at one side energy. We study impact this phenomenon development chaos modified version paradigmatic Dicke model optics, which perturbation added that breaks parity symmetry. Two asymmetric energy wells appear semiclassical limit model, whose consequences are studied both classical and cases. Classically, Poincaré sections reveal degree not depends on initial condition chosen, but also particular well structure model. In case, Peres lattices physical observables show appearance critically conserved number provided motion. conservation law defined shown to allow for coexistence between regularity same further analyze onset relation with additional quantity can exhibit.

The Critical Point Entanglement and Chaos in the Dicke Model
Ground state properties and level statistics of the Dicke model for a finite number of atoms are investigated based on a progressive diagonalization scheme (PDS). Particle number statistics, the entanglement measure and the Shannon information entropy at the resonance point in cases with a finite number of atoms as functions of the coupling parameter are calculated. It is shown that the entangl...
متن کاملThe Dicke model in quantum optics: Dicke model revisited.
A short review of recent developments of the Dicke model in quantum optics is presented. The focus is on the model in a cavity at zero temperature and in the rotating wave approximation. Topics discussed include spectroscopic structures, the giant quantum oscillator, entanglement and phase transitions.
متن کاملQuantum chaos triggered by precursors of a quantum phase transition: the dicke model.
We consider the Dicke Hamiltonian, a simple quantum-optical model which exhibits a zero-temperature quantum phase transition. We present numerical results demonstrating that at this transition the system changes from being quasi-integrable to quantum chaotic. By deriving an exact solution in the thermodynamic limit we relate this phenomenon to a localization-delocalization transition in which a...
متن کاملExcited state quantum phase transitions and chaos in the Dicke model
In this contribution, the critical behavior of excited state quantum phase transitions (ESQPT’s) and its relation to order and chaos in the Dicke model are studied. This model is nonintegrable. For comparison, the same problem is studied for the Jaynes-Cummings model which is, somehow, the integrable version of the Dicke model. The existence of an ESQPT is confirmed in both cases. However, in t...
متن کاملEntropy, chaos, and excited-state quantum phase transitions in the Dicke model.
We study nonequilibrium processes in an isolated quantum system-the Dicke model-focusing on the role played by the transition from integrability to chaos and the presence of excited-state quantum phase transitions. We show that both diagonal and entanglement entropies are abruptly increased by the onset of chaos. Also, this increase ends in both cases just after the system crosses the critical ...
